Updated Job Public Description Column Label

The job list view column label has been updated to better reflect the data it represents, improving clarity when viewing and managing job information.

What’s New?

The list view column previously labeled Job Description has been renamed to Job Public Description.

This update aligns the column label with the underlying ATS field, Public Description, that is synced to Bullhorn Automation. It removes ambiguity between the ATS Job Description field and the Job Public Description field used for candidate-facing content.

Why Does It Matter?

Accurate field labeling helps recruiters and staffing coordinators quickly understand which job data they are viewing, especially when managing multiple job postings.

Previously, the column label created uncertainty about whether users were seeing internal job descriptions or public-facing descriptions intended for candidates. This update provides clearer visibility when building list views and filtering job data, helps ensure the correct job content is shared with candidates and clients, and reduces errors while improving confidence in data accuracy throughout the recruitment workflow.
